Situated at the northern coast of the Sinai, close to the Israeli Palestinian border El Arish is a little out of the way, therefore less touristy. El Arish is perhaps the perfect spot for those who want to slow down and relax.
In El Arish, the most stressful decision of the day could be which spot on the beach to pick in order to soak up the sun while listening to the sound of the Mediterranean waves.
The area with its soft golden sand and coral reefs is also lovely for snorkeling and diving.
For a change of pace stroll through the permanent exhibition of Bedouin art. The exhibition is held at the edge of town near the Zoological garden.
