Situated at about 55km south of Suez this popular resort, offers nice hotels on the Red Sea. The pleasant accommodations, lovely beaches and water sports are a drawing card for weekending Cairenes. The nearby suphur springs for which Ain Sokhna was named have long been forgotten.
